CCP Games ne-a anuntat ca bine cunoscutul MMO, EVE Online, are parte de cel mai performant computer server din istoria industriei de jocuri. Format dintr-un dual-processor 64-bit AMD Opteron-based IBM BladeCenter LS20 blade servers, acesta este capabil sa calculeze pana la 150 de milioane de tranzactii cu baza de date in fiecare zi, iar server-ul ce inregistreaza fiecare schimbare nu foloseste H.D.D-uri normale, producatorii optand pentru Solid State Disks ( SSD ), cunoscute in lume drept cele mai rapide unitati de stocare - 400,000 de operatii aleatorii - In/Out - pe secunda.
